Penny didn’t grow up with a fear of the dark or the Boogyman in her closet. No, she grew up with the fear of the colourful and innocent balloon. Now in her late 20s, Penny and her therapist go back to the memory where she was kidnapped at her birthday by serial killer Poppy the Clown. It was the most haunting play date of her life. After her session she must stay indoors, for today is the anniversary of the killers death and people are running around dressed up as him. Penny slips into a deep sleep leading to a nightmare filled with a world of balloons and the ghost of Poppy. There, she learns what happened to him as a child and is pulled out of her nightmare by her therapist. However… Her therapist may end up being scarier than anything in her nightmares.
